The Hot Mess Express Upcycled Skirt started as a pair of bright pink dress pants before getting completely reworked into something way more fun.

The original pants were transformed into a fitted skirt while keeping details from their former life—like the waistband, belt loops and pockets. A gathered ruffle was added along the bottom and finished with contrasting vintage-style trim for an extra little dose of chaos.

Basically, she used to have a 9-to-5. Now she has plans after midnight.

HOW TO STYLE IT

Pair it with a vintage tee, cowboy boots and an oversized belt for funky western chaos. Add a tiny tank and heels when you want to take it somewhere less respectable. Or clash it with another ridiculous print because being coordinated is optional.
