By accessing our website or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

The Modern Alien specializes in funky, unconventional fashion, including handmade, upcycled, reconstructed, vintage-inspired, and one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories.

Many of our pieces are individually designed or created using reclaimed materials.

Because of this, products may feature unique characteristics, including:

Variations in fabric, texture, or color
Visible stitching or reconstructed details
Differences in placement of patterns or embellishments
Minor characteristics associated with reclaimed materials
Individual design elements that make each piece unique

We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and photograph our products, including known imperfections.

These characteristics are not necessarily defects. However, this does not limit your rights if an item is materially misrepresented, defective, or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.

3. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Many of our products are one of a kind, meaning ONE OF EACH. THAT'S IT.

Product availability is subject to change without notice.

Adding an item to your shopping cart does not reserve or guarantee its availability.

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund for the unavailable item.

We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at our discretion.

4. PRICING & PAYMENTS

All prices are displayed in the currency shown on our website or at checkout.

Prices may change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted unless otherwise permitted by law.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders where legally permitted. If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, we will issue a refund of the amount charged for the canceled item or order.

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be processed.

Payments are handled through Shopify and supported payment providers.

Applicable taxes, shipping costs, and other charges will be displayed at checkout where required.
