Going Bananas Upcycled Fringe Dress
ONLY ONE EXISTS // NO RESTOCKS
GOING BANANAS
We took a T-shirt, a bedsheet, and absolutely no good advice.
SPECIMEN 001/001
THE FILE
Meet Going Bananas, a one-of-a-kind upcycled fringe dress made from a Donkey Kong graphic T-shirt and a rescued banana-print bedsheet. Because apparently we looked at two perfectly normal objects and decided they needed to become everyone's problem.
The dark graphic tee bodice brings the nostalgic Nintendo energy, while the playful banana-print skirt, asymmetrical fabric panels, and dramatic red fringe take this handmade statement dress straight into beautifully unhinged territory.
It's colorful. It's ridiculous. It's giving cartoon character who accidentally got invited to Fashion Week.
And somehow, it works.
This is what happens when you stop asking whether fabrics belong together.

THE MUTATION
An existing Donkey Kong T-shirt was reconstructed and combined with a rescued banana-print bedsheet to create an entirely new dress.
The contrasting materials were brought together with an asymmetrical skirt design and bold red fringe, turning two unrelated pieces into something that absolutely refuses to behave.
T-SHIRT + BEDSHEET → DRESS.
The banana budget was clearly out of control.
FIT CHECK
This is a handmade, one-of-a-kind garment. Please use the actual measurements rather than relying solely on the listed size.
Because the dress combines different fabrics, stretch and fit may vary between the bodice and skirt. Compare the measurements with a dress you already own for the best fit.
HUMAN-MADE DISCLAIMER
This specimen was handmade from rescued clothing and textiles that had previous lives before becoming this dress. Small variations or signs of their former existence may be present.
We don't call that damage. We call it evidence.
CARE
Due to the combination of printed fabric and decorative fringe, gentle spot cleaning or careful hand washing in cold water is recommended after checking material compatibility. Avoid wringing the fringe and lay flat to dry.
REPLICATION STATUS
ABSOLUTELY BANANAS.
One T-shirt. One bedsheet. One completely unnecessary amount of fringe.
Nintendo didn't prepare us for this level. 👽🍌
