Meet Mouse Trap, a one-of-a-kind pair of striped pants handmade from a rescued bedsheet and finished with unexpected Mickey Mouse print cuffs.

The red-and-white pinstripe fabric gives them a clean, playful base, while the contrasting character-print hem comes in at the last second to completely ruin any chance these pants had of behaving normally.

They're funky, colorful, unexpected, and handmade from something that was originally supposed to stay on a bed.

Clearly, that didn't work out.

THE MUTATION

A rescued red-and-white striped bedsheet was cut and reconstructed by hand into a completely new pair of pants, then finished with contrasting Mickey Mouse fabric at the cuffs.

The result is exactly what The Modern Alien does best: take ordinary materials and make them considerably less ordinary.
