Meet Dead Cute, a one-of-a-kind skeleton mini dress handmade from leftover scrap fabric because perfectly good fabric does not get to die on our watch.

The black fabric is packed with skulls, skeletons, bones, and anatomical chaos, while the fitted strappy silhouette keeps the whole situation suspiciously cute. It's the kind of funky statement dress that works perfectly for Halloween but absolutely does not require October's permission to leave the house.

Made from scraps that could have easily been thrown away, this little specimen is proof that leftovers can still cause problems.

Waste fabric? Never heard of her.

THE MUTATION

Leftover skeleton-print fabric was rescued from the scrap pile, pieced together, cut, and sewn by hand into an entirely new dress.

Instead of becoming waste, the remaining fabric became its own one-of-a-kind specimen.

The scrap pile remains furious about the betrayal.
